Opera SA is a cultural organisation that Hyde Park Press has sponsored for many years. We have been delighted to have been associated in not only the many operas performed during the years but most of all both of the internationally acclaimed Ring Cycles. Variety – The Children’s Charity of South Australia is a non-profit volunteer organisation that exists to help sick, disabled, and disadvantaged children under the age of 18 years by providing financial support and various fun activities, to directly benefit their quality of life and general well being. Hyde Park Press is again proud to support Tent 75 here in Adelaide, which is part of Variety International - The Greatest Children's Charity In The World. We at Hyde Park Press are delighted to be involved with programmes like the Sunshine Coaches. Knowlton was privileged to be present at the handover of one such coach to the Sparkling Diamonds netball club. Hyde Park Press are Gold Sponsors of the SA Variety Bash. It was a proud moment for all South Australians when it was announced that the 2009 Bash had raised $1,904,000 and was the highest fundraising state in Australia. Bash entrants reminisced at the 2009 Bash Reunion held at the Hotel Tivoli. SA Bash Chairman Wayne Richards announced that the 2010 SA Variety Bash will start from Murray Bridge and finish in the stunning Clare Valley. Hyde Park Press will again be Gold Sponsors in 2010. The history of the Bash supports its main rule: Don't take it too seriously!
Foundation 21 is a community organisation dedicated to supporting children with Down syndrome and their families. Hyde Park Press is proud to be associated with F21, and particularly with the Buddy Walk along the Torrens River. With our assistance, and that of other corporate sponsors and hundreds of South Australians, the 2009 Buddy Walk raised in excess of $25,000. Some of the recent work of F21 includes:
