Diamonds Sparkle in Variety Sunshine
 | The Sparkling Diamonds, a community-based netball club in the suburbs of Adelaide, has been the beneficiary of a Sunshine Coach donated by Variety, the Children's Charity. |
| The sports club was formed to allow children and youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, some with mild disablities, the opportunity to participate in a mainstream sport along with children from more stable circumstances. | The club also attracts refugee children and children at risk. Sparkling Diamonds' coordinator, Mike Ogden said, "The club has established working relationships with CareWorks, Mitcham Girls High School and Brooklyn Park Church of Christ with most of our players living in the Kilburn, Blair Athol, Mile End and Richmond areas. This bus will make a world of difference as we can now reduce the waiting list of children who want to play netball but haven't been able to join due to a lack of transport and volunteer drivers".
