Ken Linn attended the launch of Listen Deeply, let these stories in by renowned senior Eastern Arrernte artist Kathleen Kemarre Wallace (left) and her close friend artsworker Judy Lovell.
The launch was held in September at Ltyentye Apurte (Santa Teresa) community, South East of Alice Springs, in conjunction with the 20th anniversary of the Keringke Arts Centre.
Ken, from the Hyde Park Press sales team, considered himself fortunate to be invited by IAD Press to attend the launch. He said it was an edifying experience and was proud to be involved with a book which, he could see first hand, meant so much to the Eastern Arrernte Community.
Ken said, just by the way, if you want to see some truly magnificent Aboriginal art be sure to make the trip to the Keringke Arts Centre. Examples of the art by the Eastern Arrernte community appear in Listen Deeply, let these stories in.
