As part of our commitment to the environment, Hyde Park Press promotes responsible buying of PEFC and FSC paper. We have been through a rigorous certification and training process that enables us to offer this special service.
The Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes (PEFC) and the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) are organisations that have developed methodology to monitor and certify that papers used in the print manufacturing process comply with recognised ethical, environmental and well managed standards.
This is facilitated by utilising a 'Chain-of-Custody' procedure that documents all aspects of the paper trail, from forestry management operations to delivery of the final printed product.
Jobs printed on PEFC or FSC certified paper are entitled to display the appropriate logo, providing all criteria are met in the manufacturing process.
Staff at Hyde Park Press have been trained to monitor and record this process to ensure full compliance with the Standards.
