Hyde Park Press lends support to young Adelaide filmmaker Daniel Lawrance whose latest offering, Justice Squad, is due for release later this year.
Justice Squad follows the fortunes of a team of wannabe superheroes as they thunder and blunder their way through the streets of Adelaide. If they can land a lucrative Comics contract, their future will be assured.
The trailer for the movie was screened for the first time at Higher Ground in Light Square at the Justice Quiz 2010 at on Sunday 25 July.
With final work in progress on colour, soundtrack and special effects, the film is expected to be released by the end of 2010. It represents several years of hard work by the dedicated cast and crew.
Justice Squad is produced by Jenny Stokes and directed by Daniel Lawrance from a screenplay by Daniel Lawrance, Chad Ashby and Anthony Castle.
